Unlike many nominees, the writers of the song - Oscar-winning husband and wife songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez - didn’t learn of their nomination for “Remember Me” through some third party, from texts from friends, or even an excited publicist phone call. The other is sad and plaintive, a lullaby intended to tug at your heartstrings in the metaphysical movie’s wrenching finale.
